Getting Started: Measuring Code Testability

• The following instructions guide you through measuring code testability with either CoViewDeveloper or CoViewManager. It assumes your workspace already contains a project and that you are licensed to use either product.

Getting Started

• 1. Make the CoView Editor the default Java Editor. Select Window > Preferences > General > Editors > File Associations
• 2. Define your metrics, severity levels and thresholds. Select Codign > Metrics > Thresholds

• 3. Define your testability metrics, thresholds and severity levels in the Preferences.
• 4. From the Package Explorer, right-click on a project, package, class or method and select CoView > Show Testability Summary
